Es ist die Stimme von Ernst Grissemann, die sich wie keine andere als „die Radiostimme" in das kollektive österreichische Hörergedächtnis eingeprägt hat. Für GOLDSTIMME E.G. RADIO 3 hat Josef Klammer aus archivierten Radiobeiträgen eine Essenz von ca. 500 Stimmfragmenten herausgefiltert und digitalisiert. Diese Stimmpartikel, geordnet nach ihrer Perkussivität, ihrer Melodik, ihrem Timbre und ihrer Semantik, ergeben die Struktur dieser Komposition. Das Rohmaterial des Stücks, Grissemanns Stimme, verfügt bereits über eine starke, unverwechselbare Melodik: Jedes Wort hat einen eigenen Klang, eine besondere Klangfarbe. Eben diese Musikalität der Stimme und des von ihr gesprochenen Wortes motivierte den Autor dazu, sie in ihrer Essenz zur radiophonen Komposition zu verarbeiten. Um den spezifischen Charakter seines „Werkstoffs" zu erhalten, verzichtete Klammer auf Veränderungen der Tonhöhen. Hintergrundgeräusche wie etwa Signations bleiben der Stimme, als deren untrennbarer Bestandteil ,als Träger erhalten. Wiedererkennungseffekte, d.h. Verweise auf einzelne Sendungen und ihre Inhalte und Themen, bleiben ausgespart: GOLDSTIMME E.G. RADIO 3 hat im Sinne einer Komposition streng ästhetisch - musikalischen Charakter. Auch Wortmischungen oder gar Neukonstruktionen von Sätzen und Halbsätzen sind im Stück vergeblich zu suchen. Vielmehr ging es Josef Klammer darum, die (musikalisch - akustische) Qualität des Wortes zu verfeinern und herauszuheben. „Um nicht in tautazistische Tonfolgen oder in den von mir so genannten „Aral - Effekt" (benannt nach der gleichnamigen Werbung) zu verfallen, habe ich die Stimmfragmente bzw. Wavesamples vermischt, gemischt oder aneinandergereiht und durch unterschiedliche Anschlagscharakteristika, Dynamikstufen und Modulationsebenen für Midi-Instrumente konzertierbar gemacht. GOLDSTIMME E.G. RADIO 3 wurde von mir live auf Sequenzer aufgezeichnet, fragmentiert und neu montiert." Die Anregung zu dieser Komposition stammt von Heidi Grundmann. Dieses Auftragswerk ist ein Geschenk von TRANSIT und dem ORF Kunstradio an Ernst Grissemann, der als Hörfunkintendant des ORF und als Intendant des Landesstudios Tirol viele Radiokunstprojekte ermöglicht hat. Text: CD-Gestaltungskonzept Joachim Baur XXX 1994: „GOLDSTIMME" Der Versuch die vollendete Weltzeit vorwegzunehmen, intensivierte die alchemistische Suche nach dem Lebenselixier, und bezeichnete so erstmals eine Einverleibung von Metall / Gold durch den Menschen. Dieses als AURUM POTABILE in der Alchemie bezeichnete TRINKBAR GOLD kann mit dem beigelegten Gold-Blättchen als „Spurensuche" wiederholt werder. Gold-Blättchen in Alkohol, z.B. in klarem Schnaps fein verteilen und in kleiner Schlucken trinken. Diese erste Transmutation von Mensch und Gold dauert bis heute, und ist in der Prothesenmedizin und in der Erweiterung von menschlichen Organen mit Computern sichtbar, und in der Verlängerung der menschlichen Stimme mit Hilfe von Mikrofonen, Radiogeräten und CD's hörbar. It is Ernst Grissemann's voice, which has made its mark on the collective Austrian listener's memory like no other than "the radio voice". For GOLDVOICE E.G. RADIO 3, Josef Klammer has filtered out and digitized an essence of around 500 voice fragments from archived radio broadcasts. In the sense of a composition, RADIO 3 has a strictly aesthetic - musical character. Mixtures of words or even new constructions of sentences and half-sentences are also to be found in vain in the piece. Instead, Josef Klammer was concerned with refining and emphasizing the (musical-acoustic) quality of the word.
